Family Christmas Party at Grandma Esplin's

We had our Christmas Eve Party early this year, because Wyatt's Brother was in town. It is so fun to celebrate. We had yummy cheeseball, veggie tray, broccoli soup, and of course Wyatt's mom's homemade doughnuts(tradition). Everything was delicious. Then the kids did the nativity. Adri was Mary and the boys were shepherds. After that the kids got to open their cousin gifts, and the ones from their Grandma. Chase got a darling Mickey Mouse pillow. Garrett and Brody got fleece blankets of their favorite football teams(made by Grandma). Adri got a princess dish set, complete with bowl, plate and cup. It is always so wonderful to be with our family. I love this time of year so that we can focus also on our Savior and his life, and gift to us.

Visiting with Santa

Santa came to our Ward Christmas Party last Saturday. Adri and Brody sat on his lap to tell them what they wanted, but Chase wouldn't go anywhere near him. I guess Garrett thinks he is getting too big for Santa's lap. Anyway I love the magic at Christmas Time.

Garrett's Christmas Program

Garrett's sixth grade did a Christmas program this year. They sang a lot of fun songs, had dancers, and different parts. Garrett was in the choir, and stage crew. It was fun to go and watch the kids perform.

Our Year in Review 2008

I made a collage of our pictures to put on the back of our Christmas letter. It is fun to look back and see how much everyone has changed this year. Our kids are growing so fast.

Happy Thanksgiving

We have a lot to be thankful for this year, (just look at these gorgeous kids.) We had a great time celebrating with Wyatt's mom, his sister Amber and her family, Vance and his family, and our niece Kylie. Family is the greatest thing in the world. We are both so blessed to come from such great ones. I love the holidays! Fun! Fun! Fun!

More Halloween Fun

The boys had a fun time on Halloween. They are getting old enough that they like to hang out with their friends. They dressed up for school. They have a parade and Halloween party at school. It is fun. Our ward had a trunk or treat, and a chili cookoff. Adri won the best Disney character, and Chase won for cutest costume. We can't disagree. Chase was pretty cute trick or treating. He held is bucket on his arm, and would put it down each time he got a piece of candy to put the candy in it.

Sand Dunes Camping Trip

The boys are getting to be such good little riders,(definitely better than me) You should see them jump. Chase loves riding now too. A few months ago, he was terrified. Now he will bring us his helmet, whenever he wants a ride.

Fall Break Camping Trip

We went on a camping trip to the Sand Dunes over Fall break. The weather was beautiful, nice and warm. It was alot of fun. We did have a scary mishap though. We were riding just before dark, Brody was driving, he hit one of the dunes wrong, and sent Me, Adri, and him off the 4 wheeler, and the 4 wheeler, went rolling over us. A little scary. It happened so fast. We were all o.k, but I was a little sore for a couple of days. I feel blessed that nothing serious happened.

Brody's Birthday!!!

Brody had a fun birthday party with his friends. They played lots of fun games: Donut eating contest, pumpkin bowling, bobbing for apples, mummy wrap, and hot pumpkin. They had scones and apple juice for lunch. I think everyone had a good time.

PUMPKIN PATCH

Last week Chase's school went on a field trip to the Pumpkin patch at Southridge Farms in Santaquin. Adri and Chase had a good time. We went on a hayride to the Pumpkin patch where you could pick out a pumpkin. Then we went back and had donuts, and walked around the little store. Chase loved the tractor. He loves anything you can drive. He is starting to look like such a little boy, but he is still my baby. I think he enjoys his playgroup, he goes twice a week. They have singing time, art time, games, snack, storytime, and field trips as well. They focus on getting the kids to speak, because alot of them have speech delay. Adri likes to go too, they have activites for the older kids as well. I do feel lucky they have early intervention programs to help kids out there while they are still young.

Soccer Stars

Garrett and Adri both played soccer this year, and had a great time. There were only two girls on Adri's team. She was pretty aggressive, and kept up with the boys. I think their team won every game(they don't really keep score) Garrett is a good soccer player as well, he made quite a few goals. His team didn't win this year, but all that matters is he had a great time playing. I am quite a competetive mom, and enjoyed watching both the kids play.

Having a 'Swingin" good time

Everyone loved playing on the swings and the tetherball when we went to Marysvale. Even Grandma had a good time swinging away. She is always so cute to play with the grandkids. They love it!
