Powdered Sugar Monster
Yesterday, I made Chase some breakfast, and while he was eating, I went to do a few things. Not really thinking about it, I left the container of powdered sugar on the counter. When I came back a few minutes later this is what I found. Chase was eating it, and throwing it everywhere. It was a huge mess, but I had to laugh, and take a picture, because it was too funny. I guess I won't be leaving powdered sugar out where he can get it any more.

Spring Break at the Sand Dunes
We went to the Sand Dunes for Spring Break. It was pretty chilly, but the kids didn't seem to care. They got up bright and early every morning and made a campfire. They loved riding their 4 wheelers, and I liked having the trailer so I could be warm. At night we played games and watched movies. It is always nice to get away. Hopefully our kids will remember the fun times we have together.
Happy Easter
I can't believe how cold it was this Easter, but it was still fun any way. Our ward has an Easter Breakfast, with games, face painting, bingo, etc. The kids have a good time. Then we had a picnic at My Mom and Dad's and an Easter Egg Hunt for the Kids. My mom does a different color of egg for each kid. I think it is a great idea. Sunday we had a picnic with Wyatt's family, and a Hershey Kiss Hunt. I am grateful for this time of year to remember our Saviour, and his gifts to us.
Coloring Easter Eggs
The kids love to color easter eggs. Adri spent a lot of time coloring hers. Chase tried to eat his, but we think he liked coloring them too. Normally we take them and roll them down the hill at Murray Park, but it was too cold this year, so Grandma let them roll some down her slide.

Our lives our blessed in times of Trial

The past few weeks have been a little rough for our family. We took Chase in for an MRI a couple of weeks ago to find out if there were reasons for his developmental delay. We actually went into it thinking they weren't going to find anything, and were surprised(and a little sad) when they did. Apparently he had a lack of oxygen to his brain either in utero or at birth. This affected the white matter in his brain.(Medical term: Periventricular Leukomalacia) We don't totally understand it all, but the neurologist said, it is like a road block to the communicators in his brain, which would affect his development. This has not changed who he is, a happy, smiling, carefree boy, who melts my heart. My dad said it best when he said, "He is one of God's Celestial Children." I do feel blessed to be his mom.
Crazy Hair Day

The kids had Crazy Hair day at their school for meeting their reading goals. They got to wear their hair all Crazy and got to spray paint their teacher's hair too. They thought it was pretty fun. KSL even did a story on them. Garrett was hoping he would get to see himself on the news. I didn't take any pictures of the boys, but got some funny ones of Adri.
MOM'S BIRTHDAY!!
A couple of weeks ago we celebrated my Mom's birthday. My parents are really good about getting the family together for special occasions, family home evenings, and other events. I feel really lucky to have a family that I enjoy being with. My mom is one awesome lady. She teaches me so much by her example. I hope that I can be half the person she is. We celebrated her birthday by having dinner, gifts and dessert. My Dad likes to take a picture of the Birthday person, with the people who gave them the gift.
